Doings aplenty here these days.
Packing up for the crosstown move into my girlfriend's apartment. You never realize just how much crap you have lying around until you have to put it in boxes.
On an interesting note, some of that crap included a Macintosh Plus from my U. Iowa days (1989) with a 20MB hard drive - wow, *twenty* megs! - that had been sitting in various closets for at least six years, if not longer. On a whim, I hooked it up and turned it on.
Apart from thinking it was June 2016, the thing ran perfectly. I spent hours playing SimEarth and Darwin's Dilemma just for the hell of it.
Then it hit me.
I'm sure most of you remember the execrable sequel "Back to the Future II" when Marty travels to the far-off year of 20X6 or whenever, and he passes by a storefront that has one of the early Macintosh computers - maybe an SE30 - in the window with the label "Antique Computer" on it. Did you catch that little bit of throwaway stage business? Did you laugh?
That time is here, friends. That time is now.

Back To The Future II
I wish flying cars would be coming on the market soon. It would be nice to drive a car that hovers just above the ground. Then you would not have to worry about driving in bad weather again.
